The Lunmar Aluminum piling mount lifts use only the finest marine grade products available.  The cradles are made of 2 channels that laminated together for superior strength.  We use marine grade aluminum sheaves that spin on oilite bushings so they never need lubrication.  Our bearing blocks are machined from a solid block of aluminum and has a grease zert for easy lubrication.  We use the heaviest 6” channel for all of our lifts.  Our smaller lifts use the same size top beam as our larger lifts.  The cables are 304 stainless and wind on machined cable winders so you will get maximum life out of your cables.  The motors are totally enclosed, non vented  which prevents salt air and dirt dobbers from entering the motor.  The switch is weather proof and uses stainless steel contacts.  The Lunmar aluminum lifts are the finest lifts on the market

 

Options Available

 

E-Drive upgrade--- The flat plate has been on the market for over 30 years with over 1,000,000 units sold.  It is the proven workhorse on the market.  Several companies have come out with enclosed gearboxes.  Most of the enclosed units use a   45 to 1 and 65 to1 reduction gears which we found that after a period of time the units would drift back.  These units also used a gear set that was considerably small than the flat plate.  AMS came out with the E-drive which uses a 90 to 1 reduction gear also the gear set is the same size as the flat plate. So finally we have found an enclosed gearbox unit that has a PROVEN set of gears in the unit.  We feel confident that this unit is superior to any other gearbox on the market and this unit is the only enclosed gearbox that Lunmar will use on our boat lifts.
